About Frank P. Femino
Drs. Frank Femino and Stephen Ducey, New Jersey Monthly Top Doctors for 11 consecutive years, and Dr. Seth Queler, a New Jersey Monthly Top Doctor for 3 consecutive years, are board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons. Their practice has been eliminating pain and restoring an active lifestyle to patients for nearly two decades. “We believe in conservative treatment,” Dr. Femino says. When surgery is required, the doctors ensure patients are fully prepared and know what to expect. In addition to eliminating pain, the group strives for excellence and quality and continuously maintains the highest standards of patient care. “There are no shortcuts to quality,” says Dr. Ducey. “We get good outcomes, patient by patient.” “We love what we do and it shows,” says Dr. Queler. “We enjoy helping people.”
Dr. Femino, director of both orthopedic surgery and the Joint and Spine Institute at Clara Maass Medical Center, has completed thousands of total hip and knee replacements and routinely performs same-day partial knee replacements. He uses minimally invasive techniques, which reduce pain and speed recovery. Dr. Ducey, who specializes in sports medicine, performs arthroscopic procedures on knees, shoulders and hips, as well as anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction and shoulder replacements. Dr. Queler, who specializes in foot and ankle surgery, performs ankle arthroscopies and total ankle replacements, and corrects deformities such as flatfeet and painful bunions.
