Dr. Jeffrey Lander specializes in cardiovascular disease, adult comprehensive echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. He manages cardiac conditions, from simple to complex, and treats patients who have active and long-standing cardiac issues, helping them to improve and manage their heart disease. He works proactively with patients to prevent cardiac problems and optimize their health.

Dr. Lander is one of a select few cardiologists who work with high-level athletes in New Jersey. His advanced expertise in the area of sports cardiology helps guide the athlete from screening to disease management, both in and out of the game. He provides cardiac care to several of New Jersey’s professional and Division I collegiate athletic teams.

With a focus on the patient experience and open communication, Dr. Lander and his colleagues, Drs. Mark Goldberg, Edward Harback, Jacqueline Schwanwede, and Nicholas Tullo, utilize the most up-to-date diagnostics and treatments tailored to the needs of each patient. Dr. Lander is known for providing honest, compassionate advice, often when patients are at their most vulnerable. He serves the members of the community where he not only lives and works but also where he grew up.

Dr. Lander holds an array of board certifications and key leadership hospital positions, and he is involved in teaching young physicians. He is currently the president and governor of the New Jersey chapter of the American College of Cardiology.
