A board-certified ophthalmologist with more than 29 years of experience, Dr. Richard C. Angrist specializes in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery, eyelid and tear duct disorders, cosmetic surgery and eyelid tumors/ cancers. Dr. Angrist completed his residency at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary in Manhattan, plus a fellowship in oculoplastic surgery at the University of Wisconsin. He is a fellow of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, a fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Chief of Ophthalmology at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus, Dr. Angrist is also affiliated with Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and Saint Peter’s University Hospital, both in New Brunswick.
