LACEY TOWNSHIP – From year-end holiday shopping right through the annual April income tax filing deadline, your bank information is especially vulnerable. It’s busy season for scammers, but you can outwit them. Join us for a fraud deterrence seminar at the Ocean County Library Lacey Branch, 3 PM or 6 PM Thursday, January 9.
Michael Healy and Dan Trifari, Security Officers for Kearny Bank, will discuss ways that scammers try to infiltrate your personal financial information and will offer pointers for the best ways to shut them down before they can take your money, upend your credit standing, and even assume your identity.
Please register at https://tinyurl.com/OclLaFraudstoppers to attend either of these free programs. In order to afford the opportunity to as many people as possible, please register for one session only.
For more information, stop by the OCL Lacey Branch, 10 East Lacey Road, Forked River, call (609) 693-8566 or visit the Library’s online Calendar of Events.
