Gill St. Bernard: The World is Our Classroom

Gill St. Bernard’s (GSB) is a co-educational private school—from preschool through grade 12—located on 208 bucolic acres in Gladstone, New Jersey. GSB provides a rigorous academic program in a traditional academic setting with a variety of honors and AP offerings, resulting in a strong college preparatory program. Students who graduate from GSB get accepted to and attend a diverse set of colleges and universities, honoring their own personal interests and growth paths. 

Education at GSB extends learning beyond the classroom with its extensive experiential learning programs. Whether it be on Home Winds Farm, a working farm on campus; in our STREAMS program; in our Kitchen Discovery Lab; or as part of our Spring Unit programming, students get the opportunity to experience learning that is immersed in the world around them. Learning also happens on the stage or at an athletic competition, as students build leadership skills and resilience alongside their classroom learning. GSB’s robust academic program prepares students for college while allowing them room to explore the arts, athletics, and service opportunities— and most importantly—to discover who they are.
