Style: Café with European flair. Cozy space with two fireplaces for guests to enjoy during cooler months, and a lovely outdoor porch that adds extra dining space in warm weather. 

Don’t Miss:  For something hot and filling on a frosty afternoon try the vegetarian chili, a generous serving of  mildly spiced veggies, beans and peppers over a choice of couscous, tabouli or short-grain organic brown rice ($10, lunch portion). Skip the salads, which are unremarkable, in favor of the wide choice of sandwiches. The paninis ($10) are served on crunchy baguettes with a choice of tangy spreads—sundried tomato, mixed olive, avocado and plum tomato. The honey-roasted turkey with brie and roasted peppers is deliciously salty and creamy.  There’s even a surprisingly good seitan (“wheat” meat) cheesesteak, served with sautéed onions, peppers and mushrooms—fresh mozzarella is optional.

Heads Up: Caffe Galleria’s former location on South Main closed in September due to flooding from Hurricane Irene. The attractive new location, on the ground floor of Lambertville House, is right in the heart of this quaint, bustling town.
