NJM Launches New Dining Podcast, Eating With Eric

Eating With Eric, a weekly podcast presented by the Garden State Wine Growers Association, will take a closer look at New Jersey's dynamic dining scene.

It’s an exciting day for food lovers and podcast enthusiasts alike, as New Jersey Monthly launches their first podcast, Eating With Eric, presented by the Garden State Wine Growers Association.

What, exactly, is Eating With Eric? Each week, New Jersey Monthly’s Deputy Editor and Dining Editor Eric Levin will interview fascinating personalities from around New Jersey’s ever-evolving dining scene. This new podcast will cover all manners of culinary conjectures.

“New Jersey has a dynamic and progressive dining scene that has been my privilege to cover for the last nine years,” Levin says. “The scene is driven by enormously talented, passionate, hard-working people—chefs, farmers, sommeliers, bartenders, brewers, distillers, designers and more. The mission of Eating With Eric is to bring their stories—their energy, humor and foibles—to NJM readers and to anyone with a passion for food.”

The inaugural episode profiles Leia Gaccione, a protege of Bobby Flay who currently helms South + Pine in Morristown. (New Jersey Monthly gave South + Pine a glowing review in October.) In this episode she talks about the Bobby Flay you don’t necessarily see on TV— the passionate chef, the consummate professional, the tireless worker on whom she modeled herself.

Eating With Eric is not just for dining insiders. Whether you’re passionate about great food, looking for a great new lunch spot or just curious about the goings-on in New Jersey’s most illustrious kitchens, you’ll enjoy Eating With Eric.
