THE MENU

Before you even have the chance to review the menu, which includes photos of every item, you’ll be served soothing hot tea. The soup dumplings are a must. The three-color variety, which includes chicken, crabmeat and gourd luffa, are a tasty sampling, but you can also get a full order of just one kind. The plain or beef scallion pancake makes a great shareable.

Entrées like the tender and flavorful scallion lamb with leeks, kung pao chicken, or Taiwanese-style sautéed rice noodles are standout choices. The dry sautéed string beans are a perfect side, with a spicy and garlicky crunch in every bite. There are a few desserts, including crispy red-bean pancakes and eight-treasure sticky rice.

HEADS UP

It is conveniently located in a shopping center with several other Asian eateries and a large Asian supermarket, Hung Vuong.
