A massive new music festival is coming to Atlantic City, and it’s bringing some of the biggest punk, alternative and emo acts in the business.
Live Nation announced Tuesday that the Adjacent Festival will make its debut over Memorial Day weekend in 2023. The event, which is taking place on the beach from May 27–28, will feature over 40 bands, including legendary headliners Blink-182 and Paramore.
Blink-182 has given fans plenty to cheer about recently, as the group just announced singer Tom DeLonge’s return to the band. A new song, “EDGING,” and tour dates accompanied the nostalgic news.
And those iconic headliners are far from Adjacent’s only notable attractions.
Several New Jersey stars, including—but not limited to—Bleachers, The Front Bottoms and Thursday, are part of the lineup, which is emphasizing acts from the Garden State, as well as Pennsylvania and New York.
Japanese Breakfast is among the bands repping Philadelphia, while Jeff Rosenstock is part of the New York contingent. Other popular artists attending the festival include Turnstile, Coheed and Cambria, Jimmy Eat World, Idles and Beach Bunny.

Adjacent has yet to announce which days individual artists are playing.
Early-bird general admission tickets for the two-day festival go on sale Thursday, October 27, at 10 am; they start at $249. Various VIP packages range from $499–$1,199. Tickets can be purchased on Adjacent’s website.
If other popular Garden State beach festivals, such as Asbury Park’s Sea Hear Now and Wildwood’s Barefoot Country Music Festival, are any indication, Adjacent could draw around 30,000 fans or more. This new festival is going to have some competition, though, as the Jersey-born Bamboozle is returning for a 20-year anniversary festival next year. That yet-to-be-announced lineup will rock Atlantic City’s Bader Field May 5–7.
