A Virtual Seminar on the Women of the Van Riper-Hopper House
March 12: The Van Riper-Hopper House in Wayne has been home to four generations of the Van Riper family, as well as several paid and enslaved laborers. In “Women of the Van Riper-Hopper House (and How to Find Them),” Tessa Payer will be focusing on the female members of the household, presenting the house as a case study for researching and integrating women’s history in historic house museums.

The Queen Of Soul: A Tribute To Aretha Franklin
March 17: Aretha Franklin is recognized as the most successful female recording artist in history. Musician, vocalist and composer Damien Sneed pays homage to the Queen of Soul with fresh renditions of her most cherished hits.
