The Championship Round has ended. The winner will be announced Tuesday, June 27 at noon.
Two boardwalks enter, one boardwalk leaves.
It’s a battle of the boardwalks as Jenkinson’s Boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach and Casino Pier in Seaside Heights square off in the Championship Round of our Shore Attractions Shootout. We’ve pitted 16 of New Jersey’s favorite seaside icons against one another in a four-week competition to determine which is the brightest jewel of the Shore. Now it’s down to the final two.
The thrills of Jenkinson’s Boardwalk bested the tranquility of Island Beach State Park, while the excitement of Casino Pier beat out the rockin’ Asbury Park Music Scene. Which has what it takes to make it to the top?
Every Tuesday we’ve cut the field in half based on your votes. Now we’re in the final week, which runs through June 26. The ultimate Shore Attractions Shootout winner will be announced on this site on June 27.
Vote and you can become eligible to win one of three $50 American Express gift cards.
Vote for your favorite Shore attractions. Good luck. Enjoy the Summer.

1 more round to go , stronger since Sandy
Vote seaside
Once Seaside is rebuilt, I expect it to be better. But since it has been sitting partially empty since Sandy and the fire there isn’t as much variety.

Point Pleasant/Jenkinsons. More family oriented, less riff-raff, fewer bars/drunks, a great aquarium for rainy days.
