The owners of Belmar’s Beach Haus Brewery have introduced a new restaurant in the same town. The new spot has an American menu and a catalog of local craft beers and spirits on hand. The menu includes prosciutto-and-peach flatbread, vegetarian empanadas, ribeye steak and more. Currently open 5–11 pm from Thursday-Saturday and 5–8 pm on Sunday.

Plantwich, Glen Rock
This 100 percent plant-based café features a variety of “plantwiches.” A special sandwich rotates weekly; the menu also includes grab-and-go treats, protein bites, chickpea tuna and more. Currently open five days a week; closed Monday and Tuesday.

Azure Greek Mediterranean, Morristown
A new Mediterranean restaurant is heading to Morristown. What was previously Madame Thai on Pine Street is in the process of becoming Azure Greek Mediterranean. Signs went up to let patrons know the new restaurant is coming, but no opening date has been announced yet.

Boatyard, Point Pleasant
Offering coastal fare with drinks and a full bar, Boatyard plans to open sometime this month. This will be the Fahey Restaurant Group’s fourth Shore spot, following Cross & Orange in Asbury Park, Joe’s Surf Shack in Lake Como and Reef & Barrel in Manasquan. Ice Cream by Mike, Ridgewood
This popular shop has closed for good. Owner Mike Elias made his own ice cream base using imported ingredients from Italy and France, plus fresh fruits and vegetables from the Garden State. The last official day of operation was August 14.
