WWII Vet, Saved in Philippines, Returns the Gesture

After reading about the devastation wrought by Typhoon Haiyan, Edward Sorock, a Merchant Marine veteran who was nursed back to health in a hospital in the Philippines during World War II, felt he had to repay the compassion he was shown by Filipino hospital workers nearly 70 years ago.
