As much as Jerseyans have grit, they have heart. To celebrate those who give from their hearts, New Jersey Monthly created the annual Seeds of Hope awards 10 years ago.
This year’s honorees include some of the state’s most effective and dedicated volunteers. They were chosen by our judges: Ellen Lambert, president of the PSEG Foundation; Jaimie Ryan Morais, a personal shopper/stylist and past board member of Main Stream (formerly the Somerset Hills Handicapped Riding Center); Laura Aden Packer, arts program director at the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation; Robert H. Silver, president of the Bravitas Group; and Nina Stack, president of the Council of New Jersey Grantmakers. Our five honorees stood out in a pool of 60 impressive nominees. They will be recognized at a luncheon on October 9 at the Crystal Plaza in Livingston, a cosponsor of the event along with PNC Wealth Management.
