Cape May’s Holiday Hooplah

Even if you’re already familiar with New Jersey’s most southern shore point, you’re missing out if you haven’t yet experienced the town’s month-long Christmas In Cape May festival.

From now through January 2, the cozy, Victorian seaside village is transformed into a Dickensian wonderland of twinkling lights, trolley rides, houses aglow with candlelight and fragrant garlands hanging everywhere.

The list of events includes wine tastings, ghost tours, Christmas-themed dinners and myriad old-fashioned Christmas exhibits. Make a day or weekend of it. Check out the full schedule of events. And if you’d like a preview of what to expect, check out this video.
