Clearing the Air about NJ Towns

Next time someone makes a crack about New Jersey, point that person to Money magazine. In its annual Best Places to Live report, the magazine says nine of the top ten towns with cleanest air in the U.S. are in South Jersey.

Evesham, Marlton, Medford, Mount Laurel, Lenola, Cinnaminson, Moorestown, Delran, and Lumberton all made the list, clocking in at numbers two through ten. Richmond, Virginia was named number one.

Money magazine drew its data from the Environmental Protection Agency. All nine towns ranked low in airborne lead, NO2, particulate matter, carbon monoxide, and ozone depletion.
