Good Eatin’ Down South

As locals know, the South Jersey dining scene is as diverse and delectable as any up north. A great way for you to explore the culinary creations we have to offer is the upcoming South Jersey Restaurant Week.

From October 17 to 22, more than 40 South Jersey restaurants will be offering fixed-price, four-course meals for $25 or $35. I’ve taken advantage of in this bargain event in the past and have come to look forward to it every year.

Each fixed-price menu is designed to showcase some of that establishment’s most exciting dishes, and usually you get a lot of bang for your dining buck. Some of my favorite participating restaurants include Coriander: An Indian Bistro in Voorhees, Max’s Seafood Café in Gloucester (their mussels are my favorite in the state), the Robin’s Nest in Mt. Holly, and Cork in Westmont.

Whether you’re with a group of friends or out on a date, Restaurant Week is a sweet way to eat in the fall.
