Now through December 7, New Jersey-based auto insurance company Palisades is conducting its first Jersey Diner Choice Awards. Garden State residents can visit www.palisades.com to nominate their favorite New Jersey diner in eight categories. The winning establishment gets the chance to host “Ace of Cakes” chef Duff Goldman. Also, 10 voters will be selected at random to attend the event with Goldman.
When it comes to Jersey diners, I think South Jersey can hold its own against some of the better-known North Jersey locations. I’m a big fan of the Medport Diner in Medford (a stomping ground of my youth), the Sage Diner in Cherry Hill, and Ponzio’s, also in Cherry Hill.
So get out and vote. And let us know how you’ll be casting your diner ballots.
