Waiting for a light to turn green a couple blocks from the George Washington Bridge, in Fort Lee. One of these images is fairly straight from the camera, with some exposure corrections. The other is pushed to the limit with Photoshop.
No tricky stuff with layers, adding things that weren’t there or subtracting things that were there. Just pushing different sliders to create an effect that is surreal, a little chilling, at least as I look at it…especially after noticing the plane flying in front of the cloud. Which I did not see when I took the picture. Only after looking at it blown up on the screen.

Ever been stuck at this light? You can’t see the light in the photo, but it comes when you take the exit for Fort Lee, just before the GWB.
