STYLE

This warm, bistro-style BYO eatery with table, booth and bar seating blurs the line between breakfast and lunch and serves until mid-afternoon.

THE SCOOP

Opened in 2012 by co-owners Ben and Katie Sanford, who launched Boro, a restaurant, market and bar in Pennington, one year ago.

THE MENU

A warm beverage is the perfect starter, and there are lots of choices: lattes, espresso, matcha tea and cappuccino. How about a seasonal favorite? Try the pumpkin-pie white hot chocolate. The menu boasts treats like croissant French toast with pecans and maple syrup, as well as a cannoli French toast made with fat Texas toast, cannoli cream and Nutella syrup. Omelettes of all varieties are served with fresh fruit or home fries. There are inventive eggs Benedicts such as Cajun shrimp with Old Bay hollandaise sauce, or corned beef with caramelized onion on rye. Signature dishes include chicken and waffle; cacio e pepe eggs; and hearty bowls, like the Buddha with sweet potato fries, spinach, wild mushroom, crispy garbanzo beans, avocado and pickled onion topped with tahini.
