1. Funding Financial Literacy Programs

Donna Sullivan of Bank of America, left, presents a $20,000 check to Sharon Clark of the Central Jersey Housing Resource Center Corporation. The funds will help provide financial literacy programs such as credit, delinquency, foreclosure and pre-purchase counseling and referral services for low- and moderate-income residents.

3. Supporting the Arts

During its annual spring gala, the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey raised more than $200,000 in support of the center’s programs and services. Enjoying the event were, from left, Marie Cohen, Art Center Board of Trustees chair; and Mel and Ann Schaffer.
4. Funds to Fight Breast Cancer

At a Pink Tie Party, Susan G. Komen North Jersey raised more than $400,000 in support of its goal of reducing breast cancer deaths. Enjoying the evening were, from left, Kelly N. Nagle, executive director of Komen North Jersey; and Meaghan Jones of Pfizer.
5. Saving the Lives of Animals

The Columbia Bank Foundation presented a $10,000 community grant to Randall’s Rescue, a Mount Laurel-based animal shelter. 6. Feeding Hungry Children

The second annual Women Fighting Hunger Luncheon, hosted by the Community FoodBank of New Jersey (CFBNJ), raised more than $190,000 in support of programs that feed children.
