Grover Cleveland

He was the only president  born in the state (in Caldwell, in 1837), the only president to serve nonconsecutive terms (he was elected in 1884, defeated in 1888, and elected again in 1892). Cleveland dominated Democratic Party politics from the 1880s until 1896.
