The Scoop: Owner Benedicta Otalor-Sisti’s all-natural cookie-dough energy balls, which gained fame on an episode of the Dr. Oz Show, are available at this 2-year-old restaurant.

The Menu: At breakfast, the perfectly buttery, not-too-sweet scones (pictured) are a must. They are served with traditional sweet clotted cream and strawberry jam. Breakfast offers mainstays like French toast, eggs, oatmeal and pancakes, as well as Americanized English faves such as BBB (bangers, bacon and bagel) with a hash patty and cheese. Omelets and scrambles also get a Brit treatment: the Manchester United combines spicy bacon, spinach and Manchester cheese; the Green Street Hooligan pairs chorizo with Guinness brats, sautéed kale and beer cheese sauce. For lunch, choose from standards like chicken wings, wraps, burgers or a falafel veggie burger, plus classic fish and chips, shepherd’s pie and a cultural blend of British curry with warm naan bread.
