NORTH JERSEY

Benares, Wyckoff

Benares is open on New Year’s Eve from noon-2:30 pm and 5:30-9 pm for dine-in meals and takeout orders. Vegan and vegetarian options abound.

Blu on the Hudson, Weehawken

Kick off 2024 with dancing, a live DJ, an open bar, food and a champagne toast when the ball drops. Tickets are offered at $250 per guest.

Byrd, Hoboken

Byrd will be offering a New Year’s Eve dinner in two seatings. The first seating, from 5-7:30 pm, offers a two-course prix-fixe menu for $55, featuring items such as fried cod and shellfish rigatoni. The second seating, from 8 pm-midnight, offers a four-course prix-fixe menu for $95.

Calandra’s il Vecchio Café, Caldwell

An a la carte dining menu from 11:30 am-3 pm is followed by a family buffet from 5-7 pm ($75 per adult; $24 for children 4-12; free for children 4 and under). An adults-only celebration, from 8:30 pm-closing, features champagne toasts and dancing ($110 per adult; ages 21+). Call to reserve a spot.

Crystal Springs Resort, Hamburg

There are 12 extravagant celebrations happening at one of New Jersey’s top resorts. Recover the next day with on-site brunch.

Felina, Ridgewood

Close out 2024 with a three-course meal ($90+ per adult; $30+ per child under 12) at Felina. The holiday menu includes an antipasti starter, a main course and dessert. Reservations can be made online.

Downtown Morristown

First Night Morris County, hosted by a nonprofit of the same name, is an alcohol- and substance-free celebration of arts and culture, featuring 70 performances across 23 venues in downtown Morristown, plus complimentary shuttles and parking. The evening-long event is perfect for families, seniors, singles and anyone looking for a good time to celebrate the arts and the new year.

Halifax, Hoboken

This restaurant is pulling out all the stops with its New Year’s Eve Studio 54 Disco Extravaganza. Enjoy champagne and an open bar while dancing to disco classics—plus a cocktail-style menu featuring sushi, lobster tails, dry-aged strip steak, pasta and more.  Tickets are $240, with the option to add on table reservations.

The Hudson Rose, Nutley

The Hudson Rose’s Harlow Lounge will host a party complete with an open bar, dance floor, DJ, snack bar and champagne toast. General admission is $110; a VIP option is also available.

Maddy Rose, Jersey City

Maddy Rose’s three-course holiday menu includes an appetizer, entrée and dessert. Dinner is $90+ for adults; there’s a separate $30+ menu for children 12 and under. Reservations can be made online.

Montclair Brewery, Montclair

Montclair Brewery is ringing in the New Year with a Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball. Featuring craft drinks, live music from five-piece band Lil’ Bastad, and catered food from Dominque’s Dishes, this party will make you feel like you’re in the heart of the Crescent City. Tickets are $40 and can be purchased online.

pastaRAMEN, Montclair

This Japanese/Italian hotspot is serving a five-course Wafu Italian Omakase menu on New Year’s Eve for $120 per person.

The Shannon Rose, Clifton & Ramsey

Starting at 9 pm, guests will be treated to live music, a four-hour open bar, and dinner. In Clifton, choose between drinks only or drinks with a three-course dinner. In Ramsey, enjoy drinks and a four-course dinner. Both locations will celebrate with a champagne toast at midnight.

Spuntino Wine Bar & Italian Tapas, Clifton

A New Year’s Eve tasting menu starts at 5 pm, featuring dishes such as seared sea scallops, butter-poached lobster and merlot-poached pears. Pair these delights with wine or sparkling champagne.

Ventanas, Fort Lee

This modern American, Asian and Latin fusion restaurant and lounge will be celebrating the new year with a Casablanca-themed event. Guests will be immersed in the world of the Hollywood classic. Dinner prices start at $95; party tickets are $50 per person.

CENTRAL JERSEY

Asbury Lanes, Asbury Park

Headlining the night’s festivities at this iconic Jersey venue is dance/electronic artist Warner Case. The $35 event features a midnight disco-ball drop, a champagne toast and more.

Gladstone Tavern, Gladstone

Dinner and live music from local band Twilight Disciples are on the agenda at local favorite Gladstone Tavern from 8:30 pm to midnight. The menu will include special cocktails, starters, entrées and dessert.

Moghul, Edison

A New Year’s Eve celebration, held in the restaurant’s ballroom, will include live entertainment, a gourmet feast of Indian and international cuisine, and an open bar. Tickets are $175 for adults, $96 for kids under 12, and $125 for ages 12 to 21.

Northridge at Woolverton Inn, Stockton

This restaurant, located inside a historic refurbished barn, is offering a three-course $90 pre-fixe menu with items such as Yukon potato soup, herb crusted lamb, dry aged rib eye steak, and a chocolate mousse for dessert.

Orchard Park by David Burke, East Brunswick

Located inside the Chateau Grande Hotel, Orchard Park will be offering a New Year’s Eve dinner with two seating slots. The first includes a three-course prix-fixe menu; the second includes a four-course prix-fixe dinner, a champagne toast at midnight, a DJ and a photo booth.

The Pluckemin Inn, Bedminster

The Pluckemin Inn’s culinary team is preparing a special New Year’s Eve prix-fixe menu ($179 per person) with four courses and a glass of champagne. The dinner will run from 4-10 pm.

Red Horse, Rumson

The restaurant’s New Year’s Eve celebration includes a three-course dinner, a champagne toast and a midnight countdown ($125 per person). Dinner begins at 5 pm. On New Year’s Day, enjoy an a la carte brunch.

Red Horse by David Burke at Bernards Inn, Bernardsville

Celebrity chef David Burke took over operations at the classic Bernards Inn in 2023. To wind down 2024, the restaurant is offering two New Year’s Eve dinner seatings. The second includes a midnight champagne toast and live entertainment from We May Be Right, a Billy Joel tribute band.

State Theatre New Jersey, New Brunswick

State Theatre New Jersey’s “Salute to Vienna” concert promises an enchanting evening of music and dance.

Stone House, Warren

This restaurant is serving a three-course meal in two seatings, with menu items such as chestnut soup, Maine lobster and roasted heirloom cauliflower. The first seating is $95 for adults; the second is $125 for adults. For children under 12, the seatings are $30.

SOUTH JERSEY

Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar, Atlantic City

Cuba Libre‘s New Year’s Eve in Havana event at the Tropicana will feature music, dancing, a midnight countdown and party favors. The four-course dinner/celebration package begins at 9 pm. General admission is $25. The event is for adults 21+ only.

Harbor Pines Golf Club, Egg Harbor Township

The Roost Pub & Grill will feature an ’80s dance party complete with live music, dancing and a ball-drop viewing. The event has no cover charge and begins at 8:30 pm.

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Atlantic City

Celebrate the new year with Pitbull, known for hit tunes like “I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)” and “Timber.” Ahead of New Year’s Eve, you can also catch him on Friday, December 27 and Saturday, December 28.

Nola’s Bar & Lounge, Atlantic City

Spend a night at Nola’s at Ocean Casino Resort, featuring a hosted bar (9 pm to midnight), a complimentary champagne toast and live music all night long. Advanced tickets are recommended. The venue is for adults 21+ only.

Nunzio by Chef Michael DeLone, Collingswood

This Italian restaurant is offering a special prix-fixe menu featuring such items as gnocchi with truffle cream, scallop ravioli, chicken piccata, espresso-roasted rib-eye and much more. Reservations can be made by phone or online.

The Pool After Dark, Atlantic City

DJ Chris Devine will usher in the new year at this Harrah’s Resort nightclub. A three-hour open bar goes from 8 to 11 pm; general-admission partying begins at 11 pm and goes until 3 am. There’s a champagne toast at midnight.

Premier Nightclub, Atlantic City

Electronic artist BYNX will have you dancing into 2025 at this venue inside the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa. Doors open at 10 pm.

Renault Winery & Resort, Egg Harbor

Renault Winery is hosting a pair of New Year’s Eve celebrations. The family-friendly Noon Year’s Eve starts at 11:30 am; bring the kids and enjoy an afternoon of ice skating, fire pits, igloos, fare from a food trucks and a nonalcoholic cider toast at noon. Come evening, adults can enjoy live music and a champagne toast at TASTE 1864, starting at 11 pm.

The Yard at Bally’s, Atlantic City

This indoor/outdoor venue’s One Big Party is open to the public from 8 pm to 2 am. An optional $100 package includes an open bar and hors d’oeuvres from 9 pm to midnight.
