Restaurant Openings:
The Fox & Falcon by David Burke, South Orange
The venerable establishment has reopened and joined chef David Burke’s far-reaching restaurant group. There are four bars, and each room of the restaurant has its own theme, including “The Snug,” a traditional Irish pub. A new menu includes pub fare, sushi, dumplings and New American food. Future plans include live music, trivia nights and comedy shows.

Habebie’s, Helmetta
Middle Eastern cuisine made “with love, from scratch” is the pledge here. The menu includes shawarma, falafel, kebabs, hummus, stuffed grape leaves and fresh-baked pita. The restaurant makes its own sauces, including hot sauce, with imported peppers and spices. There’s also tahini made with fresh-roasted sesame seeds.

The Doughfather, Monroe Township
Inspired by the Godfather movies, this pizza spot recently moved down the road to Monroe. The menu includes classic Italian dishes, plus new ones such as calamari tossed in sweet-and-spicy fusion sauce, and a chicken sandwich topped with mozzarella sticks, French fries and vodka sauce.
365 Spotswood Englishtown Road, Monroe Township; 732-723-9091
Bunsik Nara, Little Ferry
This casual Korean restaurant, the brand’s second Jersey location, opened last month. Combos are a highlight, with pairings such as pork and fish cutlets with fried rice; boneless fried chicken with scallion and spaghetti; and barbecue ribs with kimchi fried rice. The restaurant also offers Chinese dishes, dumplings, soups and sushi.
