Kirshenbaum Baking Co., Morristown
A new bakery is in town, and it hails from a pastry chef with Michelin-starred experience. Uyen Kirshenbaum graduated from a culinary school in Paris, and she was the first female pastry chef at Restaurant Guy Savoy at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, which earned two Michelin stars. Her work has led towards many culinary endeavors, her most recent being Kirshenbaum Baking Co., which originally opened in Westfield in 2022. She opened it with her husband and partner, who is even the inspiration for the bakery’s indulgent gluten-free and dairy-free cookies. A second location recently opened in Morristown, and it serves everything from double chocolate chip cookies, almond croissants and peach galette to Taylor ham and cheese hand pies, olive monkey bread and breakfast sandwiches.
