We Are AC Food Truck, Atlantic City

The Ideal Institute of Technology, a career college in Atlantic City, recently debuted its newest project: a food truck. Students enrolled in the school’s First Step to Career program are responsible for managing and operating the truck. Breakfast sandwiches, wraps, bowls and fries are on the menu, in addition to special boxed lunches available for delivery. The We Are AC truck will be open daily at The Walk in Atlantic City.

Firestix Greek Grill, Haskell

Firestix’s authentic Greek offerings feature Spanakopita, hummus and a trio of dips. Mains include bowls, salads and gyros, plus the namesake firestix—skewered meats marinated in lemon juice, olive oil and garlic (served with warm pita). The restaurant is currently offering online ordering for pickup, as well as sit-down dining.

Corinne’s Place Food Truck, Camden

The brick-and-mortar soul-food spot, a James Beard Award winner, is taking its homestyle eats on the road. The restaurant’s brand-new food truck debuted in Camden in late October, with plans to travel to select spots around the Garden State. The menu features restaurant favorite—fried chicken, collard greens, French fries and more.

The Break Room Bar & Grill, Passaic

This new neighborhood bar, which opened last month, serves craft cocktails, empanadas, croquettes, rib-eye tacos and more. The drink menu includes the Lychee Martini Break (vodka, lychee syrup, lime juice, agave nectar) and the Break Cosmo (gin, triple sec, syrup, lime, cranberry juice). There’s a Sunday brunch and a weekly happy hour.
