Three Thirds Café, Jersey City
In the ground floor retail space of 3 Acres, this new eatery serves fresh baked goods and coffee. Three Thirds comes from the team behind Amelia’s Bistro in Jersey City. Beans are sourced from Modcup Coffee Roasters in Jersey City, and baked goods come from Balthazar Bakery in Englewood. Open daily, 7 am-5 pm.

The Food Hall, East Rutherford
Set to open on July 13, the Food Hall is offering elevated fast-casual dining at American Dream. Its establishments will include the first Jersey locations of two popular NYC eateries—Vanessa’s Dumpling House and Lady M. Vinoteca, a wine tasting spot—as well as famous Van Leeuwen ice cream.

Ocean Casino Resort, Atlantic City
The resort is debuting its $85 million development this summer, including new rooms, suites and dining options. The new Gallery Bar Book & Games features a balcony bar and lounge. Zhen Bang, the resort’s Asian restaurant, is rolling out an additional 60 seats in a new dining space.

Café La De Da, Highlands
This bakery, gourmet market and deli is opening in early July. The spot is going to be 100 percent gluten-free and Celiac safe. Owner Grace Sepe, known as the “Gluten-Free Guru,” is offering gluten-free snacks, pizzas, pastas and cinnamon buns, plus keto and vegan options. This is Sepe’s second location, joining her North Middletown café.

The mall is preparing to open a handful of new eateries in coming months, including Indian Plate, Bang Cookies, True Food Kitchen, Shake Shack and more. Nuts Factory recently opened, specializing in nuts, fruit, chocolates and candies.
