Artsy, energetic coffee shop meets cute café. Fresh coffee and fancy java drinks are made to order behind a large coffee bar. Local artwork makes great eye candy.

THE SCOOP

“We’re more than just coffee” is the motto. Opened 18 years ago, Cool Beans has been making good on that slogan ever since.

THE MENU

Need a cup of Joe? Options range from basics to candy bar lattes to frozen coffees. The chocolate cappuccino is highly recommended.

As for eats, pizzettes are super-thin-crust personal pies topped with almost anything. Wraps come warm or cold. The honey dip chicken wrap is a favorite for its super-crisp chicken pieces dipped in honey and drizzled with honey mustard. Sandwiches come in hot and cold renditions.

A full roster of salads is also available. Try the Fiesta with grilled lime-chicken breast, Jack cheese, tomatoes and black olives over a bed of mixed greens.

Craving dessert? You’ll find many cake and pie choices.
