JULES THIN CRUST IN PRINCETON

Pizzeria offering classic and eccentric creations on its signature thin crust.

THE SCOOP

John and Jan Ordway created the kind of eatery they wanted for their young daughters—a friendly, community-minded spot with a focus on organic, farm-fresh ingredients. Gluten-free crust is available; all sauces and toppings are gluten free.

THE MENU

Flavors vary, often based on the season. Choose single slices from the rotating array of options, or order full pies; customize the latter to your heart’s content. The bruschetta pie is a bright fusion of chopped tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, Parmesan, red onion, garlic, olive oil, basil and parsley. The butternut squash pie comes graced with caramelized onion, diced apple, honey and a trio of cheeses (mascarpone, mozzarella, ricotta). The Lovebird’s Nashville Hot pie mingles hot chicken and mozzarella with diced pickles and spicy ranch. Pizza is the star here, but the supporting cast includes salads and gluten-free pastries.

HEADS UP

If you’re not grabbing a pie to go, try to snag a window seat so you can people watch while munching.
