The Valerie Fund Designer Show House brings together historic architecture, luxury interior design, and a meaningful cause, making it one of New Jersey’s most standout fall events.
Starting in September, take a self-guided tour of the Clark Rogers House, a beautifully preserved Victorian Italianate and Queen Anne home just off Plainfield’s historic Millionaires’ Row. Built in the 1860s and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the home—which holds more than 160 years of stories—has been reimagined by some of New Jersey’s most talented interior designers, each bringing their own unique style and vision to every room. Wraparound porches, ornate gingerbread trim, leaded glass windows, and soaring double-leaf oak doors set the stage for interiors that are elegant, creative and anything but ordinary.
The best part? Every tour ticket directly supports the Valerie Fund, the four-star New Jersey nonprofit that has provided medical and psychosocial care for children with cancer and blood disorders since 1976. The organization helps more than 6,500 children and families each year.
Self-guided tours run Thursdays through Sundays, September 24 through October 18 (10 am-3 pm on weekdays; 10 am-4 pm on weekends) at 831 Madison Avenue in Plainfield. Tickets are just $35 per person and are available online or by calling 973-761-0422.
