Got Dad Jeans? How About a Personal Stylist (Kind Of)

This Kearny-based online clothing service offers a wardrobe rescue even the most laid-back guy can master.

Help dad refresh his wardrobe with ThreadLab. Created by the Hench brothers, Will, 39, and Andrew, 35, this Kearny-based online clothing service offers a wardrobe rescue even the most laid-back guy can master.

ThreadLab began as a life-hack (or time-saver) service, says Andrew. “But we’re realizing more guys are trying to get better with fashion or get a little dressier or just look a little nicer.”

He describes ThreadLab as a “pre-filtered shopping cart.” Customers fill out style, size and price range for each clothing category, then select a total budget of $99, $149 or $299.

An order preview is generated from ThreadLab’s inventory of more than 50 brands, including Ben Sherman, Diesel and Banana Republic. Swap items until you’re satisfied. Shipping is free, so any misses can be returned and refunded. Feedback is saved for future orders.

There’s no subscription required (although that’s an option), and items are delivered to your door.
