AVENUE, LONG BRANCH

BLUE MOREL, MORRISTOWN
A Valentine’s Day four-course menu will be offered at Blue Morel Restaurant & Wine Bar, 2 Whippany Road, Morristown, on Saturday and Sunday starting at 5:30 PM; $118 per person. A Sunday Lover’s brunch buffet will be served noon to 2 PM. Reservations: 973-451-2619.

THE BROTHERS MOON, HOPEWELL
A five-course aphrodisiac dinner will be served at for Valentine’s Day at The Brothers Moon, 7 W Broad Street, Hopewell. Reservations: 609-333-1330; BYO.
 
FOOD & WINE PACKAGE AT CRYSTAL SPRINGS
Consider the Food & Wine Package available at Crystal Springs, Hamburg. ROMANCE IS IN THE AIR AT THE EBBITT ROOM IN CAPE MAY
Guests can dine on a menu designed for couples looking to indulge at The Ebbitt Room, Virginia Hotel, 25 Jackson Street, Cape May. Chef Matthew Crist has translated his own passion for food into an Aphrodisiac Dinner (2/12 & 2/13) featuring delectable dishes paired perfectly with special spirits and a four-course dinner for Valentine’s Day. FASCINO, MONTCLAIR
On Saturday, February 13th and Sunday, February 14th celebrate Valentine’s Day 2016 at Fascino, 331 Bloomfield Avenue, Montclair as chef Ryan will prepare a two-night four-course, prix-fixe menu for $85 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Reservations: 973-233-0350.

FROG & THE PEACH
The Frog and the Peach, 29 Dennis Street, New Brunswick, will offer a special three-course holiday prix-fixe menu, plus an amuse from 4:30 to 10 PM for $85 on Valentine’s Day. On Friday, February 12, an optional three-course, prix-fixe menu will be available for $75.  On Saturday, February 13, a three-course, prix-fixe menu will be offered, plus an amuse for $85. SWEETS FOR MY SWEETIE COOKIE CLASS
On Saturday February 13, spread the love at a hands on Sweets For My Sweetie cookie workshop, which will be held at Heirloom Kitchen, 3853 Rt 516, Old Bridge. This class will be taught by Dani Fiori, known as Dani B, an Emmy Award-winning set and prop stylist, who spent several seasons working on the Martha Stewart Show before pursuing her dream of owning a couture cookie and invitations company. This class is perfect to attend with your loved one, family or friend. DOWN THE SHORE AT THE GABLES

HAVEN, EDGEWATER
On Valentine’s weekend enjoy a three-course, prix-fixe dinner at Haven Restaurant and Bar, 2 Main Street (for GPS, put 45 River Road), Edgewater Harbor, Edgewater. On Friday, there will be an a la carte menu; Saturday brunch from 11 AM to 2 PM; prix-fixe dinner from 4 to 11 PM for $80; and on Sunday a $80 prix-fixe from noon to 9 PM. LOVE AT MISTRAL, PRINCETON
Mistral Restaurant, 66 Witherspoon Street, Princeton, is offering a variety of options for lovers. On Friday, February 12th, choose between their a la carte dinner menu or enjoy their Valentine’s Weekend four-course, prix-fixe menu available through February 14, with optional wine pairing; $85; wine pairing an additional $49. MORRIS TAP & GRILL, RANDOLPH
Treat your Valentine to a romantic meal at Morris Tap & Grill, 500 Rt 10 West, Randolph. A buffet brunch will be served from 11:30 AM to 3 PM for $32, children 12 and under $15 and a special dinner menu offered from February 11 to February 14 will be served from 3 PM. THE PEACOCK INN, PRINCETON
The Peacock Inn, 20 Bayard Lane, Princeton, is offering a luxury romantic package which includes: an overnight stay; three-course for two; bottle of Veuve Clicquot Champagne in the room; chocolate-covered strawberries; and a continental breakfast for two. VALENTINE’S WEEKEND DINNER
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 13 AND SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 14
Bring your sweetheart to Rat’s, one of the most romantic restaurants in New Jersey, located at Grounds for Sculpture, 16 Fairgrounds Road, Hamilton. A special tasting menu paired with wines and an a la carte dinner menu will be offered. Reservations: 609-584-7800.

RESTAURANT NICHOLAS, MIDDLETOWN
Lovers have February 13 and 14 to celebrate Valentine’s Day at Restaurant Nicholas, 160 Route 35 S, Middletown. A three-course dinner will be offered for $150 per person, not including tax and gratuity. Reservations: 732-345-9977.

LOVE IS IN THE AIR AT SALT CREEK GRILLE, RUMSON
Love Is In The Air at Salt Creek Grille, 4 Bingham Avenue, Rumson, where Valentine’s Day can be celebrated the entire weekend. A prix-fixe menu will be available Friday, Saturday and Sunday for $125, excluding tax and gratuity. It will include a bubbly toast of Domaine St. Michelle Brut, a four-course meal, with an appetizer to share, an entrée with sides, dessert and a bottle of wine from Salt Creek Grille’s award-winning wine list. On Sunday, February 14, Salt Creek Grille’s popular Sunday brunch will be served from 11 AM to 2:30 PM. The lunch bar menu in the bar lounge area will be available from 1 to 5 PM and a limited chef-inspired a la carte dinner menu will be served featuring many Salt Creek Grille favorites. WAYPOINT 622
Waypoint 622, 622 Green Avenue, Brielle (732-528-6665), will be offering Valentine’s specials starting Friday, February 12. In addition to their full a la carte menu, the restaurant will be featuring romantic specials for two. All dinners include complimentary sorbet intermezzo and Belgium chocolate-dipped strawberries. BYO until March 1, 2016.

ALPINE WINE TASTING

GREAT BEER EXPO
The Sixth Annual Great Beer Expo will be held at Harmon Meadow, 355 Plaza Drive, Secaucus, with more than 80 breweries in attendance from all over the world. Session 1 from 12:30 to 4 PM; Session 2 from 5:30 to 9 PM; $45, plus tax and fee purchased online in advance of the event. If available, tickets will cost $60 at the door.
