7/2 to 7/4: The Opa! Big Fat Greek Festival: A Taste of Greece in Hunterdon County will be held at Razberry’s Banquet Center, 875 Rt 12, Flemington, to benefit the Parish Building Fund. July 2, 5 to 10 PM; July 3, noon to 10 PM; July 4, noon to 9 PM. Open to the public, free admission and parking. 7/17: Sickles Market’s Annual Blues Festival will be held at Sickles Market, 1 Harrison Ave, Little Silver, with locally grown blueberries and blue Jersey products in the gourmet food market, gift department, and garden center. There will also be fun family activities, including a traditional blueberry-pie-eating contest. 10 AM to 4 PM; all activities are free, but sign-up is required for the pie-eating contest. 7/18: A six-course Farm to Table dinner sponsored by Slow Food Northern NJ will be held at Plaid Piper Farm, 197 Wykertown Rd, Branchville, to benefit the earth stewardship and food justice programs of Slow Food Northern NJ. Chef Joseph Cerniglia, owner of Campania Restaurant, Fair Lawn, will prepare the dinner, with food sourced from Plaid Piper Farm and local food artisans.
