Basil & Thyme
, serving traditional Italian food, has opened at 14 Oak St, Ridgewood (201-670-9100); BYO.

The construction is finished, and Blackbird (gourmet fare) and West Side Gravy (comfort food) are now open at 714 Haddon Ave, Collingswood. Both restaurants are BYO, and reservations can be made by calling 856-854-3444.

Box, offering Japanese-Thai fusion cuisine, has opened at 176 Newark Ave, Jersey City (201-432-1670); BYO.

Matthew Tyahla has opened Matthew’s Italian Restaurant, 1131 Bloomfield Ave, Clifton, serving classic Italian cuisine at lunch and dinner daily, along with a full bar and wine list (973-928-4300).

Megu Modern Japanese Cuisine, 300 Young Ave, Moorestown, has opened, offering sushi, sashimi, and fusion cuisine (856-780-6327); BYO.

Along with signature martinis and cocktails, there are 40 beers on tap as well as 40 bottled beers at the newly opened One Republik, 221 Washington St, Hoboken (201-696-1033). The restaurant has 30 big-screen TVs and a menu ranging from gastropub fare to fine dining.
