STRIP HOUSE/ASTON MARTIN WHISKEY DINNER
On Monday, November 17, the Strip House Restaurant, 550 W Mount Pleasant Ave, Livingston will host a five-course paired menu with American Bourbon, Whiskeys, and Rye. POP-UP DINNER WITH CHEF MICHAEL MERIDA AT VILLAGE GREEN, RIDGEWOOD

On Sunday, November 16, chef Michael Merida, previously from Cravings Tapas Bistro in Ridgewood, will be partner with chef Kevin Portscher, from Village Green Restaurant, 36 Prospect St, Ridgewood, to create an eight-course pop-up tapas tasting menu. 4:30 to 9 PM; $50, plus tax and gratuity; BYO. ZEPPELIN BEER HALL, JERSEY CITY
Zeppelin Beer Hall, 88 Liberty View Drive, Jersey City, will feature Belgian cuisine through November 30. Some menu items created by executive chef Franco Robazetti are charcuterie for two; mussels offered seven different ways; Belgian burger, steak frites and a Belgian waffle, topped with whipped cream, strawberries and chocolate syrup. Thanksgiving is a grand tradition at the Bernards Inn, 27 Mine Brook Road, Bernardsville, with a lavish Thanksgiving feast. Seatings for the Grand Buffet are from 11:30 AM to 5:30 PM; $69; $35 for children ages 5 to 12; $15 for children ages 2 to 4. Children under age 2 are complimentary. The following restaurants will offer prix-fixe menus at Caesars Atlantic City, 2100 Pacific Ave, Atlantic City (609-348-4411): Kwi Noodle House–three courses plus one side dish, $68; Café Roma–three courses, $42; and Nero’s Chophouse & Sushi Bar–four courses, $44.95.

The Capital Grille, Westfield Garden State Plaza, Paramus (201-845-7040), will be offering their take on Thanksgiving favorites as well as their full menu.

Catherine Lombardi, 3 Livingston Ave, New Brunswick, will offer a holiday menu ($54.95 plus tax, tip and beverage) and its regular a la carte menu. Reservations: 732-828-4444.

Chakra, 144 W. State Rt 4, Paramus (201-556-1530), will offer a three-course multiple option menu from 12:30 to 7 PM for $48 this Thanksgiving with classics and new interpretations. Chef Ciszak will also send guests home with a free pumpkin pie to enjoy the next day. A children’s a la carte menu will also be available.

Congress Hall, 200 Congress Place, Cape May, will offer a buffet dinner in the Grand Ballroom from 1 to 6 PM; $42; $19 for kids (ages 4-12). The Blue Pig Tavern will serve a three-course dinner; 1 to 7 PM; $39; $19 for kids (ages 4-12). For reservations, call 609-884-8422.

Black Bear Golf Club will offer a lunch buffet menu with live entertainment in the Black Bear Ballroom. 11:30 AM to 3 PM; $34.95; children 4 to 11, $14.95; under 4 free.

The Springs Bistro at the Grand Cascades Lodge will serve a four-course, prix fixe dinner. 5 to 10 PM; $55; with wine pairing $85; $18 per child; regular dinner menu will also be available.

The Emerald Ballroom at the Grand Cascades Lodge will host a buffet with live entertainment. 11:30 AM to 4:30 PM; $44; children 4 to 11, $22; under 4 free.

The Diamond Ballroom at The Minerals Hotel will host a buffet and all adult guests receive a complimentary Minerals Sports Club day pass. 11:30 AM to-4 PM; $39; children 4 to 11, $17; under 4 free.

David Burke Fromagerie, 26 Ridge Road, Rumson, is serving a three-course, prix-fixe menu from noon to 8 PM; $85; children, $35 plus tax and gratuity. Denville Meat Shop, 28 Diamond Spring Road, Denville (862-209-4088), is taking holiday orders. A Thanksgiving package is available for $11.99 per person, which includes a 5-day brined, all-natural turkey or smoked ham or organic brined turkey ($12.99 per person); turkey gravy or ham sauce; cranberry-tangerine sauce; Yukon gold mashed potatoes and green beans Almandine. Additional sides are available. Oven-ready turkeys that have been brined and rubbed can also be ordered along with meats such as a crown roast of domestic lamb. More information at their website.

The Ebbitt Room at the Virginia Hotel, 25 Jackson St, Cape May (609-884-5700), will be serving a three-course Thanksgiving menu of farm-fresh cuisine; $65; $35 for a wine pairing. Dinner seatings are 2 PM through 7 PM. A whole roasted turkey is also available for parties of 6 or more.

Rods Steak and Seafood Grille & The Madison Hotel, One Convent Road, Morristown, will be open for Thanksgiving.
