The “Benny” Burger at Drifthouse by David Burke

Sunday Brunch at Drifthouse by David Burke

Sea Bright • Sundays

This beachfront restaurant now serves brunch every Sunday with a special new menu prepared by chef David Burke. Tuesday Burger Night has been so successful, Burke says, that he is adding burgers to the menu. His latest creation, the “Benny” Burger, tops a patty with ham, egg and hollandaise sauce, all piled on an English muffin. Other brunch items include a Smoked Brisket Panini (with onion jam and Fontina), Chicken and Waffles, Pancakes with banana-berry syrup and Burke’s signature Bacon on a Clothesline (with maple and black pepper glaze). Cocktails, wine and beer available.

East Rutherford • April 22

In August 2020, Mamoun’s Falafel brought their delicious Middle Eastern dishes to East Rutherford. Since then, the restaurant has received abundant support and will be returning the favor with a Customer Appreciation Day. There will be a buy-one-get-one special on Falafel Sandwiches from 11 am–9 pm on Thursday, April 22. For every sandwich sold, Mamoun’s will donate $1 to the Rutherford Community Pantry. The owners of Mamoun’s, the Chater family, say they have their loyal customers to thank for their success these past eight months.
