From entrepreneurs Dan Goldberg and Nick Ballias comes a virtual dining concept. FoodieHall is a delivery-only e-restaurant that offers an extensive variety of cuisines and menus. Currently available are DaNick’s Burgers and Simply Fowl (casual chicken), as well as Mexican, Italian and Asian options. More are coming soon. For every meal ordered, the business will donate a meal to Feeding America, which supports food banks across the nation. Orders can be placed on FoodieHall’s website.

Lonestar Bakeshop & Bakery, Haskell
Why Lonestar at this new shop in Passaic County? The owners hail from Texas and are introducing kolaches to Northern Jersey. Kolaches are fresh-baked pastries made with fillings ranging from fruits to cheeses. Lonestar has options such as blueberry, Nutella, cheesesteak, egg and cheese, and more. The bakery also offers Texas chili, salads, sandwiches and coffee. Open daily at 7 am; closed Mondays.

Ficus, Princeton
This café has two floors that operate differently. Ficus Ground (on the ground floor, duh) focuses on takeout, with options such as tea, boba, sandwiches and bowls. Ficus Above (one flight up) is an upscale gallery/restaurant serving an American menu and displaying works by local artists. Ficus Ground is open daily, 11:30 am-7:30 pm; Ficus Above is open Wednesday-Thursday 5-8 pm, Friday-Saturday 4:30-9 pm and Sunday 4:30-8 pm.

Mutiny BBQ, owned by husband and wife Thomas and Martha Dunphy, makes small-batch barbecue favorites such as brisket, ribs, turkey wings and more, and incorporates flavors from regions including Texas, the Carolinas, Memphis, Kansas City and Louisiana. Open Wednesday-Saturday 11:00 am-8:00 pm and Sundays 11:00 am-6:00 pm.
