Opening:
The Rosemont Supper Club at Tullamore Farms, 1998 Route 29 (Daniel Bray Highway) in Stockton, has opened for dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings from 5:30 to 9 pm or by special arrangement.
The chefs and owners, Paul Mitchell and Alida Saxon, worked at several well regarded restaurants in the area: The Pass in Stockton, Brian’s in Lambertville and NoLa in Stockton.
The “club,” located in a stone house on the working farm, is open to the public and serves modern American cuisine in farm-to-table fashion, with many foods procured from area farms and producers. For reservations and information, call 609-672-5586. or see rosemontsupperclub.com
Closing:
Iron Chef Marc Forgione’s return to New Jersey, American Cut Bar & Grill in Englewood Cliffs, has closed after less than a year in operation. Forgione’s first American Cut opened at the Revel in Atlantic City in 2012. Revel closed in 2014. American Cut, operated by LDV Hospitality, has four other locations, in Manhattan, Atlanta and Puerto Rico.
According to a spokeswoman for LDV, the most recent chef at the Englewood Cliffs steakhouse, Anthony Russo, now is “with LDV’s New York City properties.” These include Scarpetta and American Cut in Tribeca and Midtown. Founder and president of LDV is John Meadow.

Cattani Catering & Kitchen, 1569 Parkway Avenue in Ewing, is a 25-seat BYO serving Italian fare, with an emphasis on Umbrian specialties. The chef-owner, Meghan Cattani, is a graduate of the culinary program at Mercer County Community College and the Institute of Culinary Education in New York.
