Artisanal coffee, oversized deli sandwiches, high-quality meats, just-caught local seafood, gourmet prepared foods, farm-fresh produce, warm bread and Jersey Shore crumb cake, all together. What more could you ask for? Introducing Lenny’s Main Street Market in downtown Manasquan.
Housed in a former Rite Aid drugstore, the collaboration brings new life to what had been a sleepy, run-down corner. The cavernous, well-lit and beautifully organized space has Lenny’s Colonial Ranch Market as its anchor. Lenny’s has a first-rate butcher counter, a wide range of prepared foods and overstuffed sandwiches.
Shore Fresh Seafood Market fills the back corner with its extensive selection of fresh-off-the-boat local seafood, as well as prepared foods such as crab cakes and lobster salad. Bay Head’s Mueller’s Bakery fills the middle, complete with its signature crumb cake, but also cookies, cakes and pies. And if that’s not enough, Batch on Main, with its flagship store just down the street, offers gourmet coffees and other beverages.
The space opened in March to wide acclaim; it’s bound to become a community hub. Why go anywhere else?
