Spring Fling at De Novo in Montclair

A new patio and bar will be opening at the "European Pub" in mid-April.

De Novo European Pub  is introducing a covered patio with a walnut bar just outside the restaurant at the Upper Montclair Train Station. The new space—with room for 30 additional guests—will open mid-April, weather permitting. Some lighter selections that will be added to the menu include: homemade tagliolini with tomato fondue and sweetened garlic; pan-seared salmon topped with jumbo lump crab cake with a moroccan glaze; and octopus carpaccio. De Novo’s homemade gelato in tempting flavors such as fresh spearmint and the cast-iron skillet chocolate brownie topped with salted caramel gelato will also be available. The restaurant is now closed on Mondays; open Tuesday through Saturday from noon and Sunday from 4 PM. The bar is open until 1:30 AM Tuesday through Sunday. Reservations: 973-893-5008.
