Michael DeNigris is the executive chef at Picco Tavern, 160 Prospect Avenue, Hackensack (201-880-8750). DeNigris previously worked at Stony Hill Inn in Hackensack and Sanzari’s New Bridge Inn in New Milford. Pastry chef and bread baker is Victor Gustavo Marquez.

Chris James, who was the former bar director of Jockey Hollow, has left the position of general manager at the newly opened Blu Grotto at 200 Port Au Peck Avenue (Monmouth Park), Oceanport. He is now head bartender at Fowler and Wells in The Beekman, a Thompson Hotel, which is Tom Colicchio’s latest NYC project that is due to open after Labor Day.
