Looking Ahead: Montclair Food and Wine Festival BBQ, Bourbon & Biergarten

Don't miss this themed tasting event at the Montclair Art Museum.

Mark your calendar for Saturday, July 9, from 6 to 10 PM, the Montclair Food & Wine Festival will present an outdoor BBQ, Bourbon & Biergarten themed tasting event at the Montclair Art Museum, 3 South Avenue, Montclair. Attendees can sample dishes from the area chefs including a wide array of bourbon and craft beer from local artisanal and national brands. This fun-filled evening will also include live music provided by The Wellmont Theater, as well as a raffle and silent auction. General admission $85 and a premium bourbon and beer tasting experience is also available for an additional $35.

A spirited BBQ competition will be judged by some notable personalities including: author John Holl, an acclaimed beer and food writer, and Veronique Deblois, KCBS certified judge and food blogger. Guests will also get in on the judging action via a people’s choice vote. John Holl will be signing his new book Dishing Up New Jersey (with purchase).

CHEF JAMIE OLIVER’S FOOD REVOLUTION COMES TO FOSTERFIELDS, MORRIS TOWNSHIP
On Saturday, May 21, Jamie Oliver’s worldwide Food Revolution Day comes to Fosterfields Living Historical Farm, Kahdena Road, Morris Township, to celebrate all-natural, fresh foods, and encourage food awareness, healthy decision making and the benefits of cooking from scratch. Discover traditions and farm responsibilities from 100 years ago, and learn about the current trends of health and wellness today. Participate in interactive activities, identify seeds, play games and make a healthy-themed craft. $6 for adults, $5 for seniors (65+), $4 for children ages 4 to 16, and $2 for children ages 2 and 3, free for children under age 2 and members with a current membership card.
