The Meeting House offers seasonal cocktails and local craft beers, but they are dedicating an entire night to wine in late August. A special guest sommelier will pair a delicious wine with each course. With a menu prepared by chef Fito, you’ll go from a local tomato and peach salad served with almond hummus, to a poached halibut crusted with herbed bread crumbs and accompanied with red quinoa. Tickets are $90 each and include gratuity.

Food Trucks at Colts Neck Stillhouse

This cocktail parlor is home to MuckleyEye spirits, distilled only out of Colts Neck Stillhouse. Have a drink at their outdoor seating and enjoy the rotation of food trucks every weekend, kicking off the week of August 16th. Check their Instagram page for updates on food truck days and times. Colts Neck Stillhouse is open Thursday and Friday from 4-10pm, Saturdays noon-10pm, and Sundays noon-7pm.

Backyard BBQ at Osteria Morini & Nicoletta Pizzeria

If you’re tired of cooking through the dog days of August, Osteria Morini and Nicoletta Pizzeria have you covered. With the space to fit up to 70 socially distanced guests, the restaurants are offering a family-style Saturday night BBQ. The three-course menus are created each week based on current Jersey harvests, with grilled meats and desserts made by their own pastry chef. You can check the menu in advance to see what courses will be served and make a reservation. Seatings are on Saturdays at 6pm and 6:30pm and it is $65 per person and $25 per person for kids under 10.

Farm & Fin Dinners at Beach Plum Farm
Fridays and Saturdays, 6:30pm

This 62-acre farm may be a produce provider to many restaurants in the Cape May area, but it also serves an array of delicious meals on its own grounds with the 100 kinds of fruits and vegetables they grow. Every Friday and Saturday, Beach Plum prepares a four-course meal, pairing their fresh produce with local seafood to create an appetizing night for their guests. Enjoy your meal outdoors on their 62-acre farm and get there early on Saturday for a free tour of the grounds. If you call 24 hours in advance, Beach Plum can accommodate vegan, vegetarian and dietary sensitivities. Hors-d’oeuvres begin at 6:30 pm, $95 per person plus tax. BYO

Summer Wine Tasting at 22 West Tap & Grill
August 25

A special menu has been crafted for a night of wine tasting on 22 West Tap & Grill’s patio. Featuring wines from Italy, Portugal and Spain, wine specialist Katie will talk in detail of each one as well as the chef’s food pairings. The menu includes a summer tomatillo and honeydew gazpacho, beet salad tossed in a honey vinaigrette, Moroccan cured duck breast, and the night finishes with a Cabernet chocolate pudding pie. Tickets sell out fast so be sure to make a reservation, $60 per person.
