Jones competed against last year’s winner, Christine Nunn of Picnic Caterers and the soon to be opened Picnic Restaurant in Fair Lawn.
In earlier rounds of the Ultimate Chef competition, Jones won against John Marsh of Green Door Café, Tenafly; Adam Weiss of Esty Street, Park Ridge; and Ike Koutrakos of Cooking In Your Kitchen.
Jones and Nunn prepared four dishes (two starters, an entrée, and a dessert) for a panel of three judges. The "secret" ingredient they needed to use in each dish was rice.
