On July 17, a family-style farm dinner with wine by Heitz Cellars will be held at The Ryland Inn, 115 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse Station. The following menu will be presented by executive chef Anthony Bucco:

JERSEY SHORE WINE FESTIVAL

Celebrate wines from NJ at the Jersey Shore Wine Festival, which will be held from noon to 6 PM on the boardwalk in front of the Tropicana Casino & Resort, 2831 Boardwalk, Atlantic City. Guests will sample 300 New Jersey wines, purchase by the bottle or case and dine at Tropicana’s boardwalk eateries, including Casa Taco & Tequila Bar, Perry’s Pizza, Tony Luke’s, and Chickie’s & Pete’s. Tickets are available at the Tropicana Box Office and on TicketMaster.com and are priced at $20; at the door $25 and includes a commemorative glass. COCKTAILS IN CABANAS

A fundraiser to benefit the Africa Yoga Project, which will bring yoga to adults and children in a large rural orphanage, will be held at Liberty House Restaurant, 76 Audrey Zapp Drive, Jersey City (201-395-0300). Free yoga on the lawn will be held from 5 to 6 PM followed by complimentary hors d’oeuvres and cash bar from 6 to 8 PM. Twenty percent of the bar sales will be donated to the Africa Yoga Project.

CATCH OF THE DAY DINNER, CAPE MAY

NEW JERSEY STATE BARBECUE CHAMPIONSHIP

The New Jersey State Barbecue Championship and Anglesea Blues Festival will be held in North Wildwood at 2nd and Olde New Jersey avenues. Feast on ribs, chicken, brisket and pork while listening to music and watch barbecue teams from around the country show off their grill skills and vie for the title Grand Champion.
