Rosie dishes about delectable things to do, including the Cooked and Uncorked Food and Wine Festival, where 20 New Jersey Fire Departments will be competing for the title best chef.

COOKED AND UNCORKED FOOD AND WINE FESTIVAL
On Monday, February 23, sample tastes from 40 restaurants along with wine, spirits and beer and vote on the best Firefighter Chef at the Cooked and Uncorked Food and Wine Festival. This event will be held at the Pines Manor, 2085 Rt 27, Edison. Twenty New Jersey Fire Departments will be competing for the top honors.

Some of the participating restaurants include: Asalt & Buttery Bake Shop, Little Falls; Blackthorn Restaurant & Irish Pub, Kenilworth; Enzzo’s Trattoria, Millburn; Garlic Rose Bistro, Cranford; Limani Seafood Grill, Westfield; Martini Bistro & Bar, Millburn; Miss Nicky’s Gourmet Toffee, Upper Montclair; Oceana Grill, Stirling; Strip House, Livingston; and The Manor, West Orange. 6 to 9 PM; $55 advance; $65 at the door. THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 19
PRINCETON FARMERS’ MARKET

The Princeton Farmers’ Market will be held at the Community Room of the Princeton Public Library, 65 Witherspoon St, Princeton from 11 AM to 4 PM. There will be 15 vendors offering a variety of goods including: local organic fruits and vegetables, free-range beef, poultry, pork, eggs, cheese, pickles, honey, baked goods (gluten free and vegan options available), granola, truffles, soap, candles, linens, hot chocolate, ciders and more.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 20
NEW JERSEY WINTER WINE FESTIVAL

The New Jersey Winter Wine Festival will be held at the Hilton Short Hills, 41 John F Kennedy Parkway, Short Hills. 7 to 10 PM; early bird $69 while supplies last; standard $79; final 2 weeks: $89; take a class for an additional $25. Tickets at the event website.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 21
TEDDY ROOSEVELT AT THE GRAIN HOUSE

The Grain House at the Olde Mill Inn, 225 Rt 202, Basking Ridge, will host a historic dinner highlighting the life and accomplishments of Teddy Roosevelt. See and interact with the character presenter during the evening. Information at the website or call 908-696-2335.

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 24
TERTULIA CELLARS DINNER AT THE PORTER HOUSE

A four-course Tertulia Cellars wine pairing dinner will be held at The Porter House, 125 N Kinderkamack Road, Montvale. 7 PM; $95, plus tax and gratuity. Reservations: 201-307-6300.

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 25
CRAFT BEER TASTING

Ho-Ho-Kus Inn, One East Franklin Turnpike, Ho-Ho-Kus, will host a Craft Beer Tasting featuring locally produced brews from the New Jersey Beer Company. Highly ranked LBIPA (Beer Advocate Magazine), Garden State Stout, 1787 Abbey Single Ale and Hudson Pale Ale will be served and bar bites are included. 6:30 PM; $20, exclusive of tax and gratuity. MICHAEL ARNONE’S CRAWFISH FEST, AUGUSTA

Tickets for Michael Arnone’s Crawfish Fest are now on sale. This three-day event, which includes Louisiana- and New Orleans-style music, food, as well as camping, will be held from May 29 to 31 at the Sussex County Fairgrounds, Augusta. Ticket information at the event website.
