Happy Hours at The Edge

The Edge is hosting two happy hours a day at their bar. Happy Hour is from 4–6 pm and Happier Hour is 9–11 pm, Wednesday to Friday. Available only at the bar, a discount of 25% is offered off all drinks and food from the Bar Fare menu. Dishes include wings, truffle fries, lamb lollipops with mint pesto, shrimp tempura and more.

African Restaurant Week Festival
Newark • August 21–22
To conclude New Jersey’s African Restaurant Week (ARW), dedicated to African- and Black Diaspora-owned businesses, the ARW organization is hosting a celebration that will feature African restaurant and beverage vendors, beer and wine tastings, live entertainment, chef demonstrations and more. Tickets range from $15 (one-day pass) to $25 for two days. Noon–7 pm.

Music Bingo at Beach Haus Brewery
Belmar • Tuesdays
Guests can test their musical knowledge every week with Music Bingo. On Tuesdays this month from 7–9 pm, each bingo night features a different theme, among them Bruce Springsteen and ’80s tunes. It’s free to play, with prizes for those who make “Bingo!” Meanwhile, enjoy dishes such as wood-fired pizza and sandwiches. Beer flights of lagers and ales are also available.
