OPENINGS
APRIL 2012

Amada, featuring everything from tapas to a pre-ordered whole suckling pig, plus live flamenco, has opened at Revel, 500 Boardwalk, Atlantic City (855-348-0500).

Blue Fish Grill has reopened in a new location at 9 Central Ave, #4, Flemington (908-237-4528); BYO.

Cupcakes by Carousel, which also has locations in Ridgewood and Englewood, has opened at 25 Church St, Montclair (973-707-2589).

DSK: Daddy’s Southern Kitchen (take-out only), 32 Broad St, Bloomfield (732-743-7449).

Energy Kitchen, with offerings under 500 calories, has opened at 14-A Chestnut Ridge Rd, Montvale (201-573-0101).

Koreander Fusion Cafe (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai), 128 Watchung Ave, Montclair (973-509-7800); BYO.

Lugo Caffe, serving modern Italian classics, has opened at Revel, 500 Boardwalk, Atlantic City (855-348-0500).

MAE aka Modern American Eatery, 339 Communipaw Avenue, Jersey City (201-743-8454), has opened, offering rustic modern American cuisine. The restaurant has 70 dining room seats, 12 bar seats, and an outdoor dining area.

Modern Taste (Chinese, Thai, sushi), 504 Kenilworth Blvd, Kenilworth (908-276-8884); BYO.

Mussel Bar, offering mussels in many guises and 150 different beers, has opened at Revel, 500 Boardwalk, Atlantic City (855-348-0500).

Executive chef/co-owner John Schatz will be reopening Union Park Restaurant, Macomber Hotel, 727 Beach Ave, Cape May (609-884–8811), for the season on April 6 and will be open Friday through Sunday until mid-May. After that, the restaurant will be serving dinner daily, except Tuesdays, from 5:30 PM.
