Learn how to prepare whole grains, vegetables, beans, and plant-based proteins, plus master knife skills, cooking techniques, artistic food plating, creative garnishing and much more at A Plant-Based Culinary Program in Princeton.
The classes will take place on Saturdays from April 11 to June 13, at the Terra Momo Learning Kitchen located at the Princeton YMCA, 59 Paul Robeson Place, Princeton, from 10 AM to 4 PM; $2,200 for 8 classes. Included in the cost are: the hands-on cooking classes, cooking tools, food samples, an apron featuring the NKCS logo, a copy of the Natural Vegan Kitchen cookbook, all recipes, menus and extensive curriculum materials. Vote for your favorite to win the People’s Choice award at the Chile Cook-Off contest at the Women’s Club of Montclair, 82 Union Street, Montclair, to benefit the Montclair Fund For Educational Excellence (MFEE). Join me, Andrew Zimmer (Thrillist editor), Karen Schloss Diaz, (Montclair Times food columnist) and Melody Kettle (Montclair Food and Wine Festival, co-founder) as we determine who will take home top honors.
